Fana Cultural Park

Bergen

Visit Fana Cultural Park for a wonderful experience.

The park was established on historic ground, near Fana Church, with the Fana River dividing it in two.
There are excellent gravel paths here. Cross the bridge and follow the path along the river to the waterfall. If you stand in front of the waterfall on a rainy day, you will experience its deafening roar and damp spray. From here, you can walk up the hill to Fana Amphitheatre, which has 350 seats. The amphitheatre hosts everything from concerts and weddings to church services and other events.

Behind the amphitheatre, you can continue westwards along the circular woodland trail. This section runs downhill and is not suitable for pushchairs. Then follow the path back along the river to the bridge. The park is densely wooded with hazel, ash, towering oaks, maple and spruce. Fana Cultural Park has many fascinating features that make it an unusual place for a walk. Suitable for everyone.
