Kviknes Hotel

Welcome to Kviknes Hotel, where the traditions of hospitality date back to 1752. The Kvikne family has run the hotel since 1877, and it is renowned for its Swiss chalet style and unique atmosphere. With 190 rooms, Kviknes is one of Norway's most historic hotels, filled with artworks and treasures that give the place a distinctive character.

Unique room experiences
Choose between rooms in the modern building from the 1960s or the historic building from the late 19th century. The modern building has 8 floors with 165 rooms, all in 1960s/70s style, most with balconies. The Superior rooms are spacious with their own seating area, while the standard rooms are comfortable and slightly smaller. Both can be upgraded with a view.

In the historic building, which has no lift, you will find traditionally styled rooms, most with balconies and spectacular views of the Sognefjord.

At Kviknes Hotel, dining experiences take centre stage. We use local ingredients from the Sognefjord, an excellent natural pantry, to give you the finest culinary experiences.
