Sylte Hotell in Valldal

When you stay with us, you will feel as though you have travelled back in time, yet with every modern comfort. In the reception area, you will find wall paintings that are nearly 100 years old, and in the lounge stands the king's table.

The hotel has 12 rooms of various sizes spread across four floors. We offer 7 double rooms with private bathrooms, 2 double rooms with beautiful, spacious shared bathrooms, 1 single room with a shared bathroom, and a family suite for up to 8 people.

Breakfast is served every morning from 08:00–10:00 in the fireplace lounge on the first floor. The lounge is a cosy place to spend the evenings, with a pleasant atmosphere where you can relax or plan the next day's itinerary. The garden is beautifully landscaped, and here you can enjoy something nice to drink.

Booking rooms in the low season:

During the low season, we offer accommodation when booking a minimum of 3 rooms. For groups, we offer favourable rates for accommodation, including breakfast. Dinner can also be served by arrangement. In the lounge, we guarantee a truly special atmosphere with a fire in the fireplace and a good selection of refreshments.

Our hotel is located right in the centre of Valldal, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, a swimming area, kayak rental, and, not least, just a stone's throw from wonderful mountain hikes.
