Hike to Trollvassnipa (432 m)

Hike to Trollvassnipa (432 m)

Trollvassnipa (432 m above sea level) is the highest peak in Sveio municipality.

Haugesund & Haugalandet Sunnhordland

The hike starts on a good trail with a steady incline. After a while, it becomes steeper towards Valesåta (277 m above sea level). The trail then descends and levels out across some marshy sections before the final climb to the summit. The last ascent is over exposed rock, so watch out for slippery surfaces. The route is marked all the way, and you can see the cairn from  a distance. At the summit, there is a steep mountainside down to Trodlavatnet, so take care. From the top, you can enjoy 360-degree panoramic views across Sunnhordland.
