Set off from the parking area by the ferry quay and follow the marked trail through the forest and up the steep hillside. This is a safe and straightforward ascent, and the landscape gradually opens up towards the summit, offering impressive views of the ocean. For the descent, you can choose a different route via Veslenipa and past Lomtjørna, then follow the trail down Timrelia to Osland.
