Hike to Arnanipa / Ådnanipa (456 m above sea level)

From the hikers' car park on Stølsveien, walk up to the gravel road. Follow this road south for about 1 km.

When you reach a stream and a small picnic area, turn left into the woods and ascend along Hjortestien/Koronastien. A steeper climb now begins along a clearly marked trail. Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful views of Arnadalen and Arnavågen. The terrain changes from deciduous woodland to an open mountain plateau.

When you reach the summit at Åsheimsvarden, a magnificent panorama opens up across Sørfjorden, Osterøybrua, Garnes and Ytre Arna. Then continue along the ridge – the summit of Arnanipa is about 150 metres north of Åsheimsvarden. From here, you have a wonderful view down towards Arna.

Return the same way.
