This is a pleasant, short mountain hike starting right in the center of Askvoll. The hike offers magnificent views of Askvoll and the surrounding islands. From the car park, the first section follows a gravel road before continuing along a good trail. The trail first passes through woodland, then emerges into open terrain above the tree line. It zigzags up the mountainside and is clearly marked with wooden stakes, making it easy to follow.
The final section crosses a flat mountain plateau before a short ascent to the summit cairn.
