Blåmannen is one of Bergen's seven mountains and can be reached from several directions. This route starts at the upper Fløibanen station. Follow the signs from Fløyen towards Blåmannen via Brushytten. From Brushytten, there are two routes: turn right to go directly to Blåmannen, or left via Rundemannen. Both routes are easy and take roughly the same amount of time. From the summit, there are magnificent panoramic views of Bergen, including the city fjord, the Bergen valley, Ulriken and the mountain plateau.
A hike to Blåmannen is often combined with other hikes in the city mountains, such as a circular hike from Fløyen via Blåmannen to Rundemannen and back.
