Hike to Dronningruta – De Syv Søstre

This demanding traverse reaches Botnkrona and continues toward Grytfoten, two of the De Syv Søstre summits. The route climbs steep, rocky terrain from Breimo and adds a second summit with extra ascent; clear weather is important for both navigation and the Helgeland coast views. The published route is 13–15 km return, with about 1,150 m of ascent; allow about 5–8 hr. It is graded very demanding and the recommended season is june–september. Use the signed parking area near the power station on Markvollveien at Breimo.
