From the main road, there is a sign marked "Gulebrystet 2 km". The trail is clearly marked all the way with red-painted wooden arrows and reflectors on the trees. From the main road, the trail heads straight into the forest and begins winding uphill. First, you have to scramble up a few easy rocky outcrops before passing through a spruce forest. After this, there is a steady climb through a more open forest. The trail leads southwest, taking you above the tree line on the front side of the viewpoint. The final section up to the bench is steep, and the view is impeccable. At the viewpoint, there is a bench with two permanently mounted mailboxes. Here you can sit and truly enjoy the view.
If you turn around, you will also see a cairn nearby. It is well worth walking up to it, as the view is even better from there.
