Hike to Håvarden (396 m) in Masfjorden

A pleasant hike to an easily accessible summit with panoramic views of Austfjorden.

The hike starts from the main road. Follow the gravel road past the farmyard and continue alongside fields and grazing areas. Go through the gate where the tractor road ends – here you will find a sign marked "Håvarden". Cross the wooden bridge and follow the trail through the forest. It is marked with red arrows and paint markings on the trees. Near the end, stone cairns guide you towards the summit. The trail is clear all the way, and the cairn is visible from a good distance. At the summit, you can enjoy magnificent views of Austfjorden.
