From upper Vengedalen, the trail climbs steeply to a ledge facing Romsdalshorn, the Troll Wall and the Romsdalen valley; the final viewpoint has unguarded drops and requires care. The published route is 1.7 km return, with 141 m of ascent; allow 1 hr. It is graded moderate and the recommended season is may–october. Use the parking area at the end of the Vengedalen toll road.
