Hike to Pollatinden (541 m above sea level) on Sula
From the car park, follow the main road for about 50 metres until you see a parking bay and a sign marked "Pollatinden".
From here, the entire hike crosses rocky mountain terrain, climbing steadily towards the summit. Some sections are steeper than others. The entire route is marked with small, red-painted stone cairns. Take care if it has rained, as the rocks can be slippery. In dry weather, the surface provides surprisingly good grip.
At the summit, you will find a large cairn, a sign and a post box. From here, you can enjoy fantastic 360-degree views of Sula and Solund. To the north, you can see both Alden and Bulandet.
Return the same way.
