Rampestreken is a steel viewing platform high above Åndalsnes, reached by a steep forest trail and stone steps. Continuing to Nesaksla adds a higher panorama over Romsdalsfjorden, Isfjorden and the surrounding peaks; the Romsdalsgondolen can provide an alternative descent. The published route is 3.5 km return, with 515 m of ascent; allow 2 hr. It is graded moderate and the recommended season is april–november. Use the large signed parking areas in Åndalsnes centre or by Rauma Kulturhus.
