Vegatrappa climbs nearly 2,000 stone steps from Sundsvoll toward Ravnfloget. The staircase gains height quickly above the coast and ends at a viewpoint over Vega's islands and UNESCO-listed cultural landscape; this route is separate from the guided via ferrata. The published route is about 1.7 km return, with about 350 m of ascent; allow about 1.5–2 hr. It is graded moderate and the recommended season is april–october. Use the parking area at Sundsvoll below Vegatrappa.
