Cross the road and follow the gravel road until it ends. From there, continue along the trail. Signage is limited, and the trail markings vary. Further up, you will reach some old mountain farm buildings, offering wonderful views of Hornelen. The views only get better as you gain elevation. The trail also becomes clearer, and large cairns guide you to the summit
