The marked route from Jønnbu crosses open upland terrain and rocky sections to a broad viewpoint over lakes, valleys and the central Telemark mountains. The published route is 11.5 km circuit, with 533 m of ascent; allow 4 hr. It is graded demanding and the recommended season is april–november. Paid parking is available at Jønnbu at the end of Lifjellvegen.
