The hike starts on a gravel road before continuing uphill along a forest road. You will pass through several gates. Remember to close them because of the sheep. At the mountain farm, the road turns into a trail. A sign indicates when there are 2 km remaining. The trail to the summit is well maintained, with red markers painted on rocks showing the way.
At the summit, there is an impressive cairn and panoramic views of Sogndal.
