There is a challenging 300-metre climb to the top. At the summit, you are rewarded with panoramic views of central Bergen and far-reaching views across Askøy and Sotra.
From the top, you can return the same way or follow a gravel road for about 3 km to Fløyen. Another option is to descend via Munkebotn on a good trail to Sandviken.
