The Ulriken Steps (643 m)

The Oppstemten stairway to Ulriken (643 m above sea level). This hike starts at the Ulriken Cable Car.

Follow the path to the right through scree and woodland to Montana. Then take the gravel road up to Steinen, where the steps begin. Built by Sherpas, the stairway has around 1,400 steps and is 750 metres long.

At the top, you can either return the same way, take the Ulriken Cable Car down or continue across Vidden in Bergen – the hike from Ulriken to Fløyen.
