Tysnessåta (752 m) on Tysnes
The best-known hike on Tysnes leads to Mount Tysnessåta.

This route starts at Myrdal. It is steep, but Sherpa steps have been built towards the summit. The final section follows a trail. From the top, there are beautiful views in every direction. You can see the Rosendal Alps and the wind turbines at Fitjar. Looking north, you can also see some of the mountains surrounding Bergen.
We recommend returning the same way.
